Birthday

On my birthday, my husband made breakfast for the kids, we sent Peter off to a friends and the rest of us loaded up to go on a hike.  However, when we go to the hiking trail it was pouring rain. So we sat in the van and watched America's Funniest Videos on Pete's phone. :)

The rain didn't last long and we enjoyed a nice long hike.

Then we met the rest of my family at my mom's for a little birthday celebration.

(my sisters & I)

It was a truly wonderful day!!!  Couldn't of asked for anything more than celebrating with my family!!

Happy New Year!

For the first time ever, we celebrated the New Year at home.

There is an old tradition to hide a treasure inside a cake on New Year's Eve.
Whoever finds it, has good luck for the year.

Henry found it!!
(Maybe his good luck will be he stays out of trouble!)

Our sweet Angel just couldn't make it till midnight.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!!!!

Halloween Party

I'm a wimp.
Pete doesn't really like Halloween.
It was raining.
It was 38 degrees.
There was NO WAY we were going trick-or-treating!
So. . .
my sister and I had a Halloween party.

The Man with the Yellow Hat, Curious George & his friend Allie

The party crew!

 Seriously, the cutest monkey EVER!!!

My sister came up with several games for the kids.
They got to pick handfuls of candy out after each game - the kids LOVED it!

"Blind fold fishing"

I even took a turn - it was hard!

The good ole' clothes pin drop.

We had yummy snacks.

And my sister had a craft for the kids.

Despite not being able to go out, it was a great night!

Tangled

It seems like Tangled is everywhere these days!
Lilly has been talking about her birthday party for awhile now.
So because she is my only girl and because it doesn't take much for her to talk me
into something, we had a BIG Tangled party!
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
The pictures are pretty self explanitory and I copied just about every idea from pinterest.

I have to give credit to my sister for the cake.  I made and frosted the cake and she made the amazing tower and thought to have Rapunzel in the window.  I LOVE how it turned out!
It was so sad to cut into it!

Peter's contribution to the decorating wasto make LILLY out of legos.
It was a wild party!  We enjoyed the many friends that came to celebrate.

The pascal party blowers were a hit!

My sister drew this Flynn Rider out for me on posterboard and we
played pin the frying pan on Flynn.

The presents were fun!
I have never seen so much pink, so many Barbies or heard so many squeals.

What an amazing way to turn 4!!!
