Boy Scout Camp

This summer, Peter spent a week at Boy Scout Camp!

It was the first time he has been away from home for an entire week.

The leaders kept the parents updated throughout the week by email and sent

pictures of the boys having fun.

 

Peter did great! He had so much fun!

They were active the whole week doing activities to earn a new rank. 

He was exhausted when he got home!

When he got back, I asked him if he thought boy scout camp or his work at home was harder.

He had to think about it for a bit and said, "It was probably equal."  Ha!



 

It was a quiet week at home without him.  The other 3 kids and I got together and prayed for Peter each day.  I read them the updates the camp sent and his brothers and sister asked the Lord to help Peter to have a good time and to be safe.  It was a great way for them to be involved in it all!

 

And we filled his room with 80 balloons as a surprise for him when he got home!!!
