On Sunday we went to a pig roast.
The weather was perfect.
The family that owns this farm turned the silo into a play tower with 3 levels.
If my kids had this in their yard, I am pretty certain they would move in and just ask me to bring food and water out to them.

There is a ladder going up to the 2nd level and a rock wall going up to the 3rd level.

There is a tree growing right through the middle of the silo and it was left as is and just built around. This makes the tower even more enchanting.

And Henry decided to help his ole' mom up by pulling my head!!

Then once we climbed down, Henry rode a pink and purple bike through the barn. It's okay, he's very secure in his manhood.
Next was a hayride, where we were poked by thorns, almost thrown off, whipped in the face by tree branches AND had an awesome time!!!!

We stopped at a Sassafrass tree and the kids sucked on the ends to taste its sweetness.
This is the house on the farm. It was built in 1850.
(This makes me feel like my house, built in 1923, is brand new.)
The setting is just beautiful, peaceful, inviting- and I want to move there -and the kids still want to move into the silo!!
We also went on a night time hayride. Ben brought his gun (the yellow and orange one) in case we were attacked.
When we returned from our ride we thought the house was on fire. . . but it was just the bonfire!
They really know how to make one over there!! I mean you could feel the heat from 20 feet away!
What a fun night!
Lilly and daddy came home and crashed!!!
